It’s been an emotional roller coaster over the past 24 hours. We got Erma’s scans back, and her curie score came in at a 4. That news hit hard. We were so confident, with all the prayers lifted up and how amazing she’s been doing, that her score would be lower. But today, I was reminded that this number is just that — a number — and I know that God is still healing her!

When we met with her team, they showed us the scans, and honestly, they look incredible. It’s amazing to see how far she’s come, from not being able to walk to where she is now! Her team was thrilled with her progress and response to treatment! While the official score was a 4, another radiologist on campus reviewed the scans and felt it looked more like a 1 or 2. To get the clearest picture of what’s left in her spine, we’ll be doing an MRI on Monday.

Even though the results weren’t exactly what we prayed for, God is still working and still moving. He’s not done with Erma yet, He’s using her and her story in powerful ways!

We are forever grateful for your prayers, fasting, and love. You are such a big part of Erma’s healing, and we couldn’t do this without you.

And now, we’ve got the green light to move forward with transplant next week.
