Today we celebrate Erma turning 4 and while it wasnt the birthday we imagined for her, we are grateful she is with us and putting up a fight! Today she had her last CT scan before surgery to remove her tumor which is scheduled for 9am on Thursday. Please set your alarms to pray for our girl.

Erma's pain progressed quite a bit, almost overnight. She is no longer able to walk on her own due to the cancer spreading to her bones.

I am thankful for the friends and family who helped us pack her summer with fun and normalcy the last few weeks. From the time we heard the word Cancer, we tried to do as much as we could to give Erma and Johnny a fun and memorable month before our lives changed forever. I'm so glad I have these memories to hold on to. Now let's go get this tumor out!
