Erma girl is doing better, and so far we’ve stayed out of the ICU. Our team started her on a new medication to help control her fevers, and it’s working great! She’s still having frequent accidents, but she’s more alert and has started throwing up mucus, which is actually a good sign.
We’re hopeful she’ll continue to improve, and we’re praying to see her ANC rise, even just a little. That would mean the end is near for us and we could move back to St. Jude housing and be reunited with our Johnny boy!
