We are asking for prayers this morning.

We were able to sneak away to an Airbnb for a little while so we could spend Christmas out of the hospital. The family who owns the Airbnb absolutely spoiled us, and we feel so incredibly blessed to know them.

Despite our prayers, Erma ended up back in the hospital on Christmas Day with adenovirus. Thankfully, she was able to return to the Airbnb for a few days of rest and playing outside. Yesterday, however, her cough worsened, and we are now back in the hospital with a bad case of pneumonia.

Because of this, her second transplant has been pushed back from January 5th to a later date. We are asking for many prayers that Jesus heals her completely and strengthens her body so she can be ready for her second transplant. We also ask for prayers that she does not relapse during this time. This is the longest she has gone without chemotherapy since July, and she is currently not on her oral chemo. We are worried about her strength and the cancer creeping back.
