We officially wrapped up 10 days of shots to get ready for our big day tomorrow! We celebrated with a pony ride at Shelby Farms Park , and Erma had the best time! She is proud to call herself a cowgirl and wants to know where we are going to keep her pony!
Tomorrow at 7am, she’ll receive one final shot before going under anesthesia to have a port placed in her neck. After that, we begin the stem cell harvest. The goal is to collect enough millions of stem cells for two separate rescues in the months ahead.
It’s going to be a long day, and we would love your specific prayers that the harvest goes smoothly and they’re able to collect everything needed on the first try. We would also love prayers that Erma feels calm and comfortable during the process since she’ll need to stay very still for several hours. We can feel the power of your prayers and we are forever grateful for every single prayer you can give us!
